We are a family owned consulting firm with a combined 30 years of experience in oil and gas, coal, geotechnical investigation, valuations and appraisals as well as geological exploration.

We strive to first understand our clients needs for oil and gas appraisals or geotechnical challenges and then provide the professional services and solutions to meet these needs.
Our Experts
Jessica Hickman, BS - Geologist/Owner
Mrs. Hickman has been working as a geologist specializing in mineral valuations and appraisals for estates and litigation, geotechnical projects and geology education for the last 10 years. Previously, she had worked as a geologist for Hickman Geological Consulting and Marshall Miller & Associates. She is also an associate member of the International Institute of Mineral Appraisers. In her spare time, Mrs. Hickman volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America as a Geology Merit Badge Counselor and Religious Emblems Coordinator and volunteers at the local community outreach several times each month.
Josh Hickman, PG, BS, Msc, MBA - Senior Geologist
Active in the energy industry for over 20 years, Mr. Hickman brings a wealth of knowledge about valuations, oil & gas related issues and geotechnical services. He previously worked as an exploration geologist with CNX Gas and Cabot Oil & Gas; Chief Geologist at Edgemarc Energy Holdings and President of Hickman Geological Consulting. Mr. Hickman is also an associate member of the International Institute of Mineral Appraisers and Chairman of Energy Leaders Network. In his spare time, Mr. Hickman volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and as a member of the Comprehensive Park Master Plan Steering Committee for North Strabane Township.
Sub-Contractors
Hickman Consulting Services, LLC can advise our clients through Request for Proposal processes and selection of subcontractors from our large vetted network. These subcontractors include professional engineers, construction services, landscapers, surveyors and timber assessors.
