Mrs. Hickman has been working as a geologist specializing in valuations for estates and litigation, geotechnical projects, and geologic education for the last 10 years. Previously, she had worked as a geologist for Hickman Geological Consulting and Marshall Miller & Associates. She is also an associate member of the International Institute of Mineral Appraisers. In her spare time, Mrs. Hickman volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America as a Geology Merit Badge Counselor and Religious Emblems Coordinator and volunteers in the community.
Active in the energy industry for over 25 years, Mr. Hickman brings a wealth of knowledge about expert witness projects covering the oil and gas sector and geotechnical matters, as well as the valuation of oil and gas rights. Mr. Hickman has sat as an expert in state (both civil and criminal) as well as federal courts. He has represented both defendants and plaintiffs of all types, such as corporations, individuals, and estates. He has even served as an expert for US Government agencies. As well as being a recognized expert in oil and gas matters, Mr. Hickman is also a certified licensed geologist (CPG) by the American Institute of Professional Geologists and a licensed professional geologist in the states of Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. He has also practiced geology in the non-licensing states of Ohio and West Virginia. Throughout his career, he has held the titles of Geologist, Senior Geologist, Chief Geologist, Owner, President, CEO, COO, and Chairman at various startups and companies.
Hickman Consulting Services, LLC, finds, contracts, and manages technical experts for legal work across the United States. HCS has existing contracts with the following disciplines:
